Meet Dr. Taz
Dr. Taz (Moataz Elmahdy) is a board-certified orthodontist with years of experience caring for children, teens, and adults.
After earning his dental degree in Egypt, he completed advanced training in dentistry and craniofacial biology at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry before pursuing his orthodontic residency and Master of Science degree at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester, one of the country’s leading orthodontic programs.
During his orthodontic residency, he received the 2017 JCO Eugene L. Gottlieb Orthodontic Resident of the Year Award.
Dr. Taz has spent years caring for patients throughout Northern Virginia and is now welcoming patients to his practice in Centreville.
Known for his warm, patient-centered approach, he focuses on thoughtful treatment planning, clear communication, and creating a comfortable experience for every family.
